March 2007 Inspection Visit

Having just returned from the sunny Algarve, I am delighted to say I have inspected a number of outstanding villas on this trip. I have concentrated on the Silves, Carvoeiro and Alvor areas this time and have thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

For the larger groups I have 2 x 7 bed villas to offer and shall be introducing them to our rental programme very soon.

I stayed with my family in Silves and dined out everyday and had typical Portuguese cuisine including chicken piri-piri, fried belly pork in garlic, fried prawns, crab and halibut. I would like to recommend a few of the restaurants I have been to on this trip - you may want to try them yourselves!

- O Algar in Benagil (fantastic fried prawns) overlooks Benagil beach
- O Baraddas in Lagoa (high standard of cuisine and fine wines)
- Ruis in Silves (famous fish restaurant)
-Villa Medici (great Italian restaurant) in Carvoeiro
