We had an enjoyable holiday on the Algarve. The hotel was very good value for money and in a good location for sightseeing which we did a lot of. Also being only 5 mins drive from the train station we travelled to Faro, Tavira and Loule as well as Lagos and Portimao. We were able to walk into Silves which we enjoyed. The hotel pool was lovely. We have stayed at this hotel several times and found the staff, hotel and the amenities great its only a 2 minute walk into silves. A great place to relax - when you go you must visit chicken georges for a bar-b-que chicken, excellent. In fact the hotel and the people of silves made us so welcome we are actually buying a property in silves. visit portugal using the Colina dos Mouros as a base and you will be hooked on going back again and again and again.
